Fever continuously
Am having fever from last 2 days but when I take paracetamol it feels less but again I feel feverish... Feeling very warm from inside can u plz tell me which test I shud undergo to check for typhiod plz

Check for CBC, peripheral blood smear for MP, Widal test.
Widal is for typhoid

Hello dear patient, I would like you to avoid typhoid fever investigations for now being, usually typhoid fever is suspended after the fever continues for more than one week. You could be having viral fever. Just take paracetamol for now being. In case you have other symptoms like vomiting, cough, sputum, loose stools, abdominal pain etc then medicine like antibiotics can be suggested accordingly.
