Fever and consistent coughing..
My son 2.9 years old , last 2days he has cough and fever  was vomiting to , doctor prescribed levolon, ibugesic plus and ziprax dry syrup , but after 2days  fever decreaseed after taking medicine though coming back after some time, coughing is Not decreasing, it's continuous , more while sleeping and with in room, outside of house not coughing, today doc prescribed omnacortil forte 2.5 ml 3times for 6days .. is it ok to take this medicine for below 3years age?

I do not like to give steroid . Since you have started to give , better give for 3-4 days..The child was improving but you made him feel that child is not OK. He inreased drugs, Improve Ventilation of room. For smal problem don't take so many drugs. Next time use only paracetamol. And kadda with indian herbs. Boil ginger, jaggery , black pepper whole, elachi clove 2-3 . Boil in water and let it boil for 10 mts, water must become less and concetrate.cool it little bit and feed the child. It works like wonder. Make it fresh every time , feed 2- 4 times a day. This home mde kadda is best cough syrup. Follow all precautions against Covid. All familymembers must be vaccinated against covid. Follow all routine vaccines.

Next time use herbal kadda. Don't use steroids, use only paracetamol.
