Greetings While fever can be a known but less common side effect of albendazole, a recurring fever is very commonly caused by an underlying viral or bacterial infection that coincided with the deworming. Please double-check the physical labels of your medications to confirm all product names, concentrations, and appropriate pediatric dosages before administration. When managing a child's fever, three potential underlying causes include a mild viral illness, a standard drug reaction, or a localized bacterial infection

It has no relation with albendazole , paracetamol is safer when compared to mefkind ds … fever is a sign of infection and if child is comfortable paracetamol is more than sufficient

Albendazole can cause fever as a mild side effect, or as a part of inflammatory reaction after giving medicine if worm infestation was there. Monitor and tabulate temperature and time to know grade of fever and frequency of fever. If child is active and playful, oral intake is good monitor closely or else take to the doctor for physical examination and further evaluation.
Next Steps
Monitor fever grade and interval at home, take to nearby doctor for further evaluation if not reduced
