**Opinion:** A high fever of 103.8°F in a child requires prompt attention and appropriate management. **Next Steps:** 1. **Monitor Temperature:** Keep monitoring your son's temperature regularly. 2. **Hydration:** Ensure your son drinks plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration. 3. **Comfort Measures:** Use lukewarm sponge baths or cooling pads to help reduce fever. 4. **Medication:** If the fever persists or worsens, consult a pediatrician for further evaluation and possibly alternate medication. 5. **Medical Attention:** Seek immediate medical attention if your son shows any concerning symptoms such as difficulty breathing, lethargy, or rash. 6. **Follow-up:** Follow any recommendations provided by the pediatrician and schedule a follow-up appointment if necessary.
