Fever 103.1
Hi doctor,
I got vaccinated today with covishield due to which I was having mild body ache so I took pcm in evening around 7 pm now i have shivering and my fever is 103.1 so i have taken the pcm again.. Is it normal to have fever more than 103? What should be done here please advise..

These are post vacconation effects dont worry you will be fine. They automatically subside within 2-3 days.
You can take dolo 650mg bd for fever and generalised pain.

It i possible to get high grade fever after the vaccination
p. should take tab Dolo and plenty of fluid

It is normal after vaccination.
Do cold sponging Also.
Take 3 cotton clothes.
Soak clothes in normal water..twist clothes for removal of extra water, keep 2 cloth in each armpit area and keep one cloth on forehead. After 10 min remove these cotton cloth and again do same.

Its common to get fever for 3 to 5 days
But 103 is too high
Btw dont worry
Do sponging

if inspite of that too fever continue fot more then 4 days then consult online btw 12 to 2

Yes it's common to have fever, bodyache, headache. You can take upto 3 pcm in a day at an interval of 6hrs. Keep yourself hydrated. Can do cold sponging to bring down temperature.
No need to worry. It will subside within 1-2 days.
