Fertility post orchidectomy
Hi, I lost my left testicle 10 years ago when I was in school. Now I'm 25, recently I read that fertility may be affected after losing testicle. I'm little worried about it, I think cum time is also little more for me while mastrubating, it takes 15-20mins to cum (is this normal?). Should I go to fertility clinic and consult doctor and get test done? I'm still virgin and unmarried, so doing this test is recommended before marriage?

Losing one testicle usually does not affect fertility or sexual performance if the other testicle is healthy. Taking 15–20 mins to ejaculate during masturbation can still be normal. If you are worried, you can consult for reassurance.

Namastey Losing one testicle years ago does not automatically mean infertility. In many men, the remaining healthy testicle is able to compensate and continue producing enough Testosterone and sperm for normal sexual life and natural fatherhood. A large number of men with a single healthy testicle are able to marry, have normal erections, normal sexual function, and conceive naturally. The fact that you are able to masturbate and ejaculate, even if it takes around 15–20 minutes sometimes, is not necessarily abnormal. Ejaculation timing during masturbation varies greatly depending on stimulation style, mental state, frequency of masturbation, anxiety, pornography habits, and arousal level. Longer timing alone is usually not considered a sign of infertility. Your concern is understandable because reading online information can create fear, especially before marriage. However, fertility cannot be judged only by ejaculation timing or by having one testicle. The key factor is whether the remaining testicle is healthy and functioning properly.
Next Steps
Do not panic or assume infertility just because you lost one testicle in the past. Focus on maintaining healthy lifestyle habits—good sleep, regular exercise, avoiding smoking/alcohol/drugs, and reducing excessive stress—as these strongly influence fertility and sexual health. If you feel persistent anxiety regarding fertility, sexual performance, or future marriage concerns, a structured professional consultation can help clarify everything properly. Health Tips
Maintain healthy body weight, regular physical activity, and balanced nutrition to support hormonal and reproductive health. Avoid overheating the groin area excessively, smoking, anabolic steroids, or excessive stress. Most importantly, remember that one healthy testicle is often sufficient for normal fertility and sexual life in many men. Thank you
