One testicle and its effect on fertility
The ultasound report says that the right testicle is in the root of scrotum and left testicle in the left iliac fossa region of abdomen. Also bilateral fat containing inguinal hernias. The doctor said that the left testicle and hernias can be taken care of through laparoscopy. So what about the right testicles is it in proper position to produce enough sperm? The semen analysis test says the following: volume 1.8 ml total sperm concentration 28 mil/ ml progressive motile 40% NP 6% normal sperms 2% HOS 50% will removal of left testicle affect these parameters? do I need to correct right testicle position? is it possible that a slight change in position will lead to more production of sperms? what can be done to maintain or improve the fertility?
