What range of values of hcg blood test in pregnancy confirm and if twins what range of values. Please suggest me

To confirm twin pregnancy USG is needed. HCG levels are higher than singleton. Please send your report

Your HCG value ranges from 5- 450 after 1day of missed period , for twin it's value can be upto 750-  800 almost  double after 1day of missed period

It is best digonsed by ultrasound.

if there is indeed twins, then we have to manage this pregnancy as high risk pregnancy. for starters calorie requirements will be higher than singleton pregnancy.

take more rest than usual. delivery should be done in hospital where minimum 2 pediatricians are available.

Hcg values more than 5 indicate pregnancy . If you see the Hcg report, it is always mentioned in terms of the value corresponding to weeks of pregnancy. If the weeks of pregnancy as per the last menses is less as compared to those indicated by the value there MIGHT be twins( this is one of the probabilities)....

Twins can be confirmed only on ultrasound. Bhcg values are high in twins but there is no fixed number that might suggest twins. Bhcg above 5 confirms pregnancy.
