Femur left bone comunited fracture
One view the fracture site showing as it did not started to heal,but in lateral view it is showing as bone started to heal. Which one to consider.This is the status after 4 months.

Fracture must appear united in both the views.

Both have to be taken into consideration.
Union is said to have taken place if 3 out or 4 cortices have bridged... In the time normal for that fracture type.
Union can be delayed sometimes.
But it is very important to predict Non Union , before it actually happens (9months.).
Consult online.

After 4 months usuallly the fracture has started to heal. We'll have to see the x-ray to judge if there are signs of the fracture uniting.
