Due to an accident the femur bone of the patient is damaged just above the knee. Then during the operation the doctors puts a plate to support it. After two months the plate gets loosened . Then what should the patient do at this situation ? I have also posted the X-Ray . The first of one is just after the operation. The second one is of yesterday's. Thank you plz help

This is excellent what your surgeon has done. These are the nasty fractures which need minimal fixation.the fracture is badly comminuted there is very little change in the fracture pattern and plate after 2 months. Please wait and not to put any weight on this foot and do walk non weight bearing as a fracture. If you have refixation you will end up in probably more disaster. It is only the x-ray views which is deceiving you.
