Hi Sir/Madam,
I am a regular runner, I run at least 4 KM a day regularly.
Recently I feel a kind of strain/tightness in my right knee. I tend to twist and create a cracking sound(many times in a day) which gives me a relief. some times I feel this strain on the muscles behind my knee and leg as well.

It's good to know that you are keeping yourself fit by running everyday, the feel of tightness in your knee might be from problem outside or inside of ur knee, it's very difficult to advise based on ur question. Better consult specialist
