Fell down and hurt back
My friend fell slipped on the stairs and hurt her back 3 days ago. The pain has relaxed a bit but is still there, however there are no signs of swelling or anything. She is unable to bend or move properly. She had consulted a doctor and the prescription is attached here. Kindly suggest whether she should continue with the medication or not. Since the doctor had recommended her 2 days course and the pain is still there.

Hello I understand your concern. Was any X-Ray taken during her visit to the doctor? Is there any numbness or tingling sensation over her legs and foot. If yes, then she has to undergo further evaluation. If not, then simple bed rest for a minimum of 1 week is necessary. I would strongly suggest getting an X-ray of L.S spine to rule out any other complications due to fall.

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However
I would like to examine & investigate your friend in detail.
-Control Hypertension, Diabetes or metabolic disorder, if there is any.
-Any way it may be tried,
--. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days.
--. Caldikind plgus (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days.
-(You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.)
--. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold.
--. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding.
--. Use no pillow under the head.
--. Avoid painful acts & activities.
-- .Do mild exercises for the affected part.

Many a times due to fall from stairs on back leads to fracture of tail bone...
So I will advice u to go for an x-rays so tat we can confirm tat its not a fracture.
My advice for pain is
Tab nucoxia mr 1 tab two times daily.
Rest as prescribed in prescription.
But yes get an x-ray done to rule out fracture.

Seems soft issue injury. She should take rest .
You can add tab mobizox 500 mg x tds for 2 days .
