Feeling pain whileSitting
My wife is Feeling pain in between waist and bottom while sitting from yesterday, but she has not feel any pain while pressing the area. Particular area of pain is nearer to the end of spinal cord. We have a baby of 8 month. My wife has also gas problem. Can I get the reason for the pain and what is the suggestion.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

This is due to muscle weakness and long sitting after delivery.
Next Steps
Go to a physiotherapist and take the treatment. Ultrasonic therapy helps in healing of muscle stretched or inflamed,heat therapy increases blood circulation and TENS helps in relieving pain,Exercises will increase the muscle strength.Do it for at least 2 weeks.You will get the relief for sure.
Health Tips
Avoid prolonged sitting/standing, forward bending,prolonged travelling ,weight lifting and stair climbing,cold exposure...Need postural correction i.e. sit tall..and use cushion support at back while sitting or feeding the baby....GET WELL SOON!

Gastric problem and anesthesia injection. Do hot fermentation avoid long standing and sitting. Physiotherapy treatment best option. Do strength exercises in gradually process. Posture correction must.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  How did it start? Has it always been there or is it a acute problem? As of now, you can give her a tab. Rantac 150mg twice a day half an hour before food for 3 days and tab. Myospaz-th as a single dose and see if there is any improvement.  If not, then consult a orthopedician in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.

It might be the pressure on the spinal cord which usually comes after delivery in ladies. She can visit some physiotherapist to learn core strengthening exercises for the low back. Daily practice of strengthening exercises will hepl in making low back muscles strong. take care
