Feeling of being on edge all the time
From past 2years life is going through a rough patch in 2020 dec i got married,in 2021 april i lost my mother it all started from there . I became insomniac didn't slept for weeks , multiple health issues, hormonal problems, weight gain . In all of this i was all alone , talking about in laws instead of being supportive they expected me to behave normal as everyone looses their parents its not only me ,i tried , tried and kept on trying to behave normal and be normal but initially i was not . (Husband was in different city) Somehow i brought up myself from that situation. Started working out ,lost weight , focused on my work . lately I shifted with my husband and I conceived everything started looking rainbows and unicorns but unfortunately at 3rd month of my pregnancy due to some complications i had to go through DnC on this 15th of june . Since then my all previous emotional issues are triggered, i am irritated, crying all the time , feeling suicidal, depressed. What should i do ?

Thanks for reaching out , I'm sorry to hear that you've been going through a rough patch in your life. Dealing with significant events like getting married and losing a loved one can be extremely challenging. 1. Allow yourself to grieve: Losing a loved one is a profound loss, and it's essential to give yourself permission to grieve. Understand that the grieving process is different for everyone, and there is no right or wrong way to grieve. Seek support from friends, family, or a therapist who can provide a safe space for you to express your emotions. 2. Prioritize self-care: Take care of your physical and mental well-being. Engage in activities that bring you joy, such as exercise, hobbies, or spending time with loved ones. Ensure you're getting enough rest, eating well, and managing stress effectively. 3. Seek support: Reach out to your support network for emotional support. Share your feelings and experiences with people you trust. Consider joining support groups or seeking professional counselling to help you navigate through your grief and any other challenges you may be facing.

Health Tips
Set realistic expectations: Understand that healing takes time, and it's normal to have ups and downs along the way. Be patient with yourself and allow yourself to heal at your own pace. Avoid putting pressure on yourself to "move on" too quickly.

Hi... You have almost explained everything. The trigger of your presenting issues is your pregnancy and the cause is the grief of loosing your mother in 2021. At that time you should have taken grief counselling and it would have helped you a lot, but somehow it never happened. This grief got repressed and now it is coming out in a difficult time. This happens very often. That is the reason why we suggest taking mental health support at the earliest, because it is relatively much easier to address immediately. Now, it will get resolved but it may take some more time. You need to first keep your Gynaecologist in loop about your presenting issues and in the meantime seek mental health support, mainly grief counselling & CBT.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist for Psychotherapy/Counselling. CBT along with Grief Counselling is required. Keep your Gynaecologist in loop on your presenting issues.
