I want to know the most is why I feel so empty like I am so hopeless and running out of time. I traveled a lot in the past 5 years. But I still felt the same, I was never contended and I always find a way to make me sad. I envy a lot of my friends because they do have a family now, I wish I had the things that they have but I also know that I am more blessed than them. I am gay and my family did not discuss my sexuality, I dont feel the support and I felt that I am alone.

The very fact that you have not had open communication with your family regarding your status is subconsciously causing stress and emptiness or a feeling that something is lacking.
Discuss it out. Learn to deal with your emotions

Accept, acknowledge and feel blessed about sexuality
Also remember the feeling of emptiness is because
you are yearning for experience of limitless...,hence
practice meditation to connect with the inner self
Also remember that you are equipped with all the
resources within to survive this world.
Lonliness is only a feeling. You are simply enough
First assess urself for aatypical depression,
After that will plan for treatment
