Feeling extremely stressed
I have been under extreme stress due to liabilities at both home and work which is resulting in lack of sleep, tiredness, loss of memory and a general slowness in daily work. There is also a sense of feeling depressed at not being able to perform my duties to the best of my abilities and making it a never ending cycle. General unhappiness with my office work and inability to spend quality yime with family is also affecting me negatively.

Hello Friend, Good that you are seeking a help here. I can understand your difficulties in doing a work life balance. Obviously, there will a loses at either side if your suffer mental stress. As you have identified such emotional problems are affecting your day-to-day life and relationships, better take the next logical step to address these problem. May be take a  counselling support to assess yourself first to figure out the root cause for your stree and suitable solutions.

Feeling low, having crying spells, sleep and appetite disturbances, and difficulty in concentration and attention are some of the signs of Depression. Consult a Psychiatrist for a detailed assessment. It is likely with medication and counselings the symptoms will improve. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless consult a Psychiatrist immediately.
