Hey Thanks for reaching out People with illness anxiety disorder -- also called hypochondria or hypochondriasis -- have an unrealistic fear that they have a serious medical condition or fear that they're at high risk of becoming ill. They may misinterpret typical body functions as signs of illness. The funny part is may be you know that nothing will happen but your mind won't stop buzzing This anxiety creates panic and doctor shopping also. You need to stick to one therapist and start your cognitive behavior therapy Curing hypochondria, or the obsessive search for cures, does not happen instantly. It takes time, effort, and commitment to changing one's life for the better. However, with therapy, medication if necessary, and positive lifestyle changes, you can train your mind to use its curative powers for good rather than ill.
