Hi, I sorry you are feeling that way. I am sure this is tough for you. Going to college is a transition phase from being a teenager and a step into adulthood. These are changes which take some time for adaptation. It’s ok to feel the way you are feeling. It also looks like something in the subconscious is triggered and from what you’ve shared with me it looks like fear. That’s could be the reason you aren’t able to sleep because for us to sleep we need to be in a calm state of mind and it looks like fear is causing an agitated state of mind and you are t able to drift into sleep. We will have to creat a safe space for you to experience these emotions and release them so you feel confident of who you are. You are doing absolutely great. Stay

Hi... I believe there must be a counsellor or counseling facility available in your medical college campus. If not so, please consult a Psychologist online. I have worked in Campus settings over several years and seen many young adults going through such issues and coming out of them as well with therapy. And please take this for sure that it is perfectly okay to feel this way. What is not okay is to not seek professional help when it is necessary.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist.
CBT along with Interpersonal Guidance and Counselling is required.
