Hello!
If this fear can be worked upon and overcome or has to be attributed to the innate nature and left at that can be decided once you know the reason or the root cause of the fear. Please visit a psychologist and discuss about it in detail to understand your problem well and then you can find the answer to your question.
Dont decide or give up without evaluating.
Take care!

Hi... Try to understand this, fear is not a negative response. It is meant to prevent us from doing something which may be potentially harmful. Our mind is receptive to fear because it is meant to prevent us from any harm. It is in our deepest part of animal brain to be alert of anything that can cause us harm. That's how we have survived as a species. What is inadequate, is when this fear starts interfering with our choices and pursuits. Overcoming a fear of doing an adventurous activity can be done with proper training and guidance. This idea of being born with an aptitude is false and does not stands the test of time. There is a saying, "hard-word beats talent, if talent doesn't work hard". Try taking training of this adventurous activity with a genuine professional and you will learn how this kind of fear response is very normal. This is a part of learning. Overcoming our fears is what makes us what we are today.
