Fear of thunder
My daughter of age 1.7years fears for thunder whenever it rains we used to divert in many ways still she has fear what to do for it

1.7 yrs is too young. Its normal at this age. I don't think you need to worry a lot about it at this point.

Find out how she got be afraid of thunder. Does she associate with some other fears or has been threatened by some one around.... Explain to her that thunder only makes loud sound but nothing goes wrong with it. And that there is going to be no harm to her.
