Fear of getting disease from dental exam
I went to a dentist just for normal checkup. I was the first patient in evening. The dentist checked my oral region without her gloves however she didn't put her hand into my mouth as such. She only used her magnifying glass instrument to check my mouth and then used a suction. This entire procedure went only for 2-3 minutes. I have health anxiety and so fear that can I get any type of disease such as Herpes, HPV, hepatitis and any such from the instrument used. She said that they sterilize the instrument. I get panic attack due to this thought. Please help me
