Fear of blood and related things
I have an extreme fear of blood (especially my own blood) and most things related to it. I faint or feel like fainting when I get even the most minor cut. I feel queasy just looking at the veins in my wrists or other places. Feeling or hearing my own pulse and heartbeat makes me uncomfortable. Injections or needles also make me faint (or, in the least, make me feel extremely light-headed). I've had this problem since childhood. It did not get better even slightly over the years.
