I was in college and had sex with my boyfriend and another guy with protection...they are healthy apparently... it's been 4 years and now I am not sexually active...now I have herpes labialis outbreaks once a year during this March month...and I feel extremely guilty anxious...and I am also worried about hpv ...since I have generalized anxiety disorder...I have chronic stress so my immunity is down...I have been preparing for a competitive exam ...what to do ...I feel so hopeless...I can't share things with my family...I have a boyfriend and I fear that I may transmit disease to him... please help...I feel there's nothing left in my life

hi, your condition is totally treatable and you must consult a psychsitrist/dermatolpgist. herpes labialis is treatable and you can have a normal sexual life after treatment. you might also need therapy and medications for your mental health condition( GAD/depression).

Your college day sex is unlikely to be causing the infection now. Herpes labialis Can occur when the infection is transmitted recently and is more pronounced when a person has high stress and anxiety levels for which you need to seek treatment from a psychiatrist. Also take a course of antiviral medications for it. Good luck
