Hi How long has it been since your father is refusing to take medicines? Consult a psychiatrist and explain about your fathers condition. It seems like he could have depressive psychosis. Having allergic breathing issues can make him feel more anxious. A psychiatrist will guide you about treatment plan. Create a warm and caring atmosphere for your father. I understand you are worried about your father. It is important for you to be calm and take care of yourself. Your father can consult a psychiatrist first and then consult a psychologist. You are taking good care of your father. Do take care of yourself.

It may not be depression. As per his symptoms, it seems to be chronic psychosis. It needs to be treated asap otherwise it may get complicated. It can be well treated with homeopathic medicine effectively. You can give medicine through water or any food. It will be effective. You need an expert Homeopathic physician.

Hello! I empathise with you. Seeing your loved one in pain and suffering that too for such a long time is difficult. But I am proud of you for all your patience and support towards him. He needs to be shown to a psychiatrist, who will diagnose him for his current symptoms. His medications also might need to be changed. Doubting others intentions, talking to one self and living in an imaginary world all need medical attention. You please take him to the psychiatrist , once he starts the psychiatric meds, things will come in control and other symptoms and complaints too can be worked on.
Next Steps
Take him to the psychiatrist immediately.

Hi, Try consulting a psychiatrist as there are chances that he might be suffering from psychosis. Also consult a psychologist specialised in Geriatric counseling. There are many Geriatric counsellors who provide home visits. They can help your father with a counseling session and also can help family members to understand the whole process and how to deal with it.
