Hello dr. My father fell down inside the house and as per dr. He survived Minimally displaced spiral oblique fracture of the distal third of the left tibia so, is surgery is needed or can be recovered through plaster please help

Hello Hoping your father is doing fine and all will be okay once again. It is difficult to comment without having a look at the xrays. Because there always is a scope for interobserver differentiation. However , if undisplaced or minimally displaced ,spiral oblique fractures are having more area of contact at the fracture ends and can be managed conservatively.
