Facial (left side) nerve weakness
My husband has been having facial nerve weakness problem from last 10-12days. Medication (steroids) and physiotherapy have been started but he has very slow recovery as per the doctor. He still can't close his eyelids fully and not even smile properly.

Steroids alone are not enough and you also need certain supportive medicines to recover quickly from palsy. Also understand that it takes few weeks for complete healing

Yes in such cases the recovery is slow and the treatment is steroids .
Don't expect miracles to happen.
The recovery will be slow.
