Floaters in eyes , seeing tiny black spots ....Flashes of lights and he is also diabetic and we really don't know these floaters and black spots meant to ??

56 yrs diabetes individual, there are many causes for floaters, early cataract, uncontrolled diabetes, development of diabetic retinopathy may cause floaters, so do consult some local experienced Opthalmologist for early diagnosis&proper advice.

Well I would suggest you to take him to an ophthalmologist as we need to examine his retina for it...It might be realted to retinal changes....Without doing fundoscope and further examination we can't come to a diagnosis..Thank you
