Twitching in the eye, is usually harmless occurrence that can affect individuals of all ages. It refers to the involuntary contractions of the muscles surrounding the eye. While most eye twitches are transient and self-resolve without any intervention, they can occasionally become bothersome, persistent, or indicate an underlying medical condition. Eyelid twitches are often associated with various factors, including fatigue, stress, caffeine intake, or even eye strain caused by excessive computer usage. ,However, if the spasms persist for a prolonged period, interfere with vision, or are accompanied by other symptoms, such as redness, swelling, or discharge, it is essential to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation. To alleviate or prevent eye twitches, certain lifestyle modifications can be adopted. Like 1. getting an adequate amount of sleep, 2.managing stress through relaxation techniques or exercise, and 3.reducing caffeine consumption. 4.regular eye breaks during prolonged screen time, 5.using proper lighting conditions, 6.practicing good eye hygiene by avoiding rubbing
