Eye power corrective surgery
I am prakash from chennai, Now i am using contact lens, my age is 26 and my power is Right eye power is -2.50 Left eye power is -2.50 CYL:0.75 Axis: 170 *I am interested in corrective surgery (LASIK), Kindly advice its good or not ? *what would be the total cost? *covers under medical insurance? Kindly advice, Thanks!

I will never advise you for LASIK for such a small power, because there are lots of advantage after 40yrs if your power is around -2 d . Your power is equivalent to -1.25 D spherical because spherical power is half of cylindrical power . Lasik is not covered under medical insurance because it comes under cosmetic surgery .
