Extreme pain in legs
I am suffering from pain in my feet, specially at the heel area and if I walk fast or a bit more than normal, they hurt immensely. Also, from past 2 days, I am not even able to stand properly because of the immense pain in the heel area of my feets.

Hi, this is Dr Hitin Mathur, foot and ankle surgeon in Noida. From your history it seems that you may be suffering from plantar fasciitis. This pain can Also arise due to other conditions Like weak heel bone, raised uric acid or stress fracture of heel bone or even due to a nerve compression on the inner aspect of your ankle. So a good examination and some blood tests and heel x rays will help identify the correct diagnosis. A tight calf muscle or having flat feet can also cause plantar fascitis. There are numerous treatment modalities available but I suggest that you see a foot and ankle specialist before starting the treatment.
