Sex drive and masturbation in themselves are not harmful however porn addiction is something of concern. Recovery is absolutely possible as you have begun to realize the ways in which porn has been affecting you adversely. With current level of porn availability on net, anyone could come across it and get addicted to it due to the way it appeals to the sexual instincts of body. It enhances sex drive as well as masturbation tendencies by making what body craves for, readily accessible. It also could alter your perception of people around to what you have experienced in porn hence eventually reducing your confidence to treat them as humans with emotions and mind rather than just a body. It gradually affects you emotionally, physically and psychologically and keep you anxious & depressed. Sexual instincts & or sex drive is your ally if you could channel it. The easiest way out from this addiction is to engage more in physical activities like a work out, playing a rigorous game, swimming, jogging or any other demanding physical activity. Second way is to socialize more and focus on creating fulfilling interactions with people you encounter. Third way would be to get rid of shame and guilt within you and think deeply about the way in which content of porn is invalid & pony after every encounter with porn. These things should help you get better in a while. After a month if the situation remains the same, consult a psychologist or psychiatrist who could help you understand your addiction better and channel the energy in an optimal way. Good Luck.
