EustachianTubeDysfunction
I'm suffering from Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. This condition is happening since 2 months - out of which - I was treated for middle ear infection (acute serous otitis media) for 1.5 month. I feel Clicking/Cracking Sound in my left ear only when I swallow or yawn. I also noticed (on swallowing) sometimes fluid comes from the left-back side of my throat - that I had spit every 1- 2 hour approx. Attached – CT Scan of Sinus and prescription of current treatment. Q - Are below two treatments effective? If yes, where can I get it done in delhi? 1. Balloon Dilation of Eustachian Tube - I read National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE),UK issued full guideline in this regard. - https://www.nice.org.uk/guidance/ipg409/chapter/2-the-procedure Video- https://youtu.be/gKNc4Sdq-b8 2. Politzerization - This solution I found in earpopper.com which has a device which uses Politzerization method to treat Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. Audiometry Impedance & Hearing are OK

I would advise you to ask your doctor to start you on intranasal corticosteroid sprays which would treat both your sinusitis and consequently your eustachian tube dysfunction. your sinusitis is actually causing your eustachian tube dysfunction. This is usually a low dose long teem treatment lasting upto a year, sometimes even longer. However this is safe and does not affect your day-to-day lifestyle.
