Eustachian tube Dysfunction
I’ve been struggling with Eustachian Tube Dysfunction (ETD), mostly in my right ear. Symptoms included heaviness, fullness, popping, squeaks during Valsalva, and sometimes temporary tinnitus. My left ear is affected only occasionally. I also have allergies and high IgE levels, which make things worse. With treatment, the squeaking has reduced and the ear feels lighter, though recovery is slow and up-and-down. My ENT also mentioned balloon dilation, but explained it carries some risks, so I’m unsure if it’s the right step. I’m managing with lifestyle changes like steam inhalation, diet control, and exercise, and slowly noticing improvement. This fullness occurs after sleeping but after taking nasal spray fullness volume reduced
