Esogress d ...
I was prescribed Esogress-IT before breakfast and Esogress-D before dinner. I am taking Pentate-IT (pantoprazole + itopride) instead of Esogress-IT. Is it safe to take Pentate-IT in the morning and Esogress-D in the evening for 10 days, since both contain PPIs?

Esogress-IT, Esogress-D and Pentate-IT are acid-reducing combinations with a prokinetic component, so do not take them together or switch repeatedly on your own. The exact choice depends on why it was prescribed and your symptoms. Take only the regimen advised by your treating doctor.
Next Steps
Please confirm the substitution with the prescribing doctor or book a Practo consult, particularly if you have persistent vomiting, black stools, weight loss or severe pain. Avoid self-medicating for long periods.
