Escitalopram wid bupronxl
I am suffering from generalized anxiety disorder and depression , i have taken escitalopram 10mg for 40 days it just improve my breathing and appetite only
Now My psychiatrist prescribed me escitalopram 10mg, bupron xl150mg, becogin ga capsule
So will it help for generalized anxiety with depression
And i am taking escitalopram at night and becogin and bupron in morning so which should be taken first bupron or becogin ga capsule
Plz answer both questions

The medicines which you are on help u with both depression and anxiety. Your symptoms will improve. If it doesn't, it psychiatrist will increase the dose. Kindly continue to take the medicines as prescribed.

In today's mechanical world most of the people are affected with GAD (Generalised Anxiety Disorder). As a practicing psychotherapist for more than 13 years what I would recommend is bring few life style changes and increase the intake of water. Follow regular walking or any kind of sports atleast for 30 minutes in a day. Follow relaxation techniques. Learn yoga and meditation.
Following these will help you have good relaxed sleep.

Hi, in my opinion Bupropion is not a gud choice considering its negative impact on anxiety state. It is a gud choice for Depressive symptoms but not in backdrop of primary anxiety disorder. Few may beg to differ on this based on their clinical experience. But theoreticallly and scientificically it's use at this point in ur illness (if diagnosed correctly) is not apt.

I Wud suggest either increasing the dose of escitalopram and wait for 10 -12 days or using venlafaxine after cross titration with escitalopram (provided u r able to tolerate either of these)

Depression and anxiety disorders are highly comorbid. If your diagnosis is correct then in my opinion better to increase the dose of escitalopram and stopping bupropion which may not be an ideal choice at this point of time. Combining other drugs can be thought of after following up.
