Enquiry about rabies
I was licked by cow on open wound in finger. My doctor recommended me 3 Doses of ARV 0,3,7 is it enough?because I saw on who guidelines that 4,5 doses recommended? Do I need more or 3 doses is enough?

Don't panic! Ideal is 4-5 doses id/im as per recommendations but 3 doses as per your local clinician is also providing  ~25% protection which is also GOOD.

Cow licking won't spread rabies... No need of ARV. Try to take tetanus vaccine instead of ARV

Generally  Cow licking rabies can't transfer so don't need any rabies vaccine. But if cow have bitten by Dog recently  then cow can become infect with Rabies and that can be transfer to human if that cow lick the wound
