Yesterday in the lab, accidently a patient's blood came in direct contact of my hand nd there was a very small fresh cut in my hand. Information about patient's blood is not known. What will i do now if the blood was infected?

First aid is to wash your hands in running water for about 10minutes with mild soap, then try to get the patients medical condition if he is hep b or hiv positive consult a physician and start prophylaxis.
If you are working in a hospital lab ,there will be a post exposure protocol.Follow with your infection control in charge and do the needful accordingly.At this time as you have patients blood sample ,do the hbsag , antibody HCV and HIV , check your hbsAb titre as well.
Please get the patient blood report about HBsAg, HIV, VDRL, anti-HCV, MP etc. If any one positive then take appropriate treatment available before actual disease occurs
