Elevated RBC
My husband have elevated Rbc and low mch and mcv in the recent CBC report .Is it a cause of concern? I have included recent reports. He has normal levels of creatine kinase and alkaline phosphatase but high potassium .We are just worried.Thanks

High rbc count is usually spuriously seen with dehydration. Try repeating the test after adequate hydration.

For low MCV and mch start consuming iron rich foods. Low MCV and MCH denotes iron deficiency.
