Elbow pain
My Husband had injured his right elbow 4 weeks ago got open wound which is almost healed but now he complains of pain while pressing that area & while keeping elbow forearm in surface like in table chair while sitting we did xray report says everything normal I have attached the pic and marked the pain area and even the film of xray is there anything plz tell me or suggest what he can do to get rid of this pain plz advice thank you

Looking at the location , there could be a partial injury to triceps/ olcrenon contusion .. Try getting a proper x ray of the elbow- lateral view to begin with.. If it’s normal and his elbow movements are fine, we could wait for couple of weeks..pain takes some time to resolve Next step would be to get a mri to assess the extent of soft tissue injury..

Hello Practo User, It looks like there some residual fluid at the area you have marked on the picture, which is very likely. Xray is not showing any obvious bony injury.
Next Steps
Avoid pressure on the elbow when sitting on the chair for next three weeks. Don't apply anything at all. No active exercises for now.
