Hi,
I want to know if isolated Ecogenic intracardiac focus size 2.5mm (in left ventricle) in level 2 ultrasound can be seen as indication of down syndrome? The NT and double marker report is fine. And one more thing, if fetal echo test is enough or any other test needs to undergo?

Your NT and Double Marker test are normal. Echogenic Intracardiac focus is often seen in level 2 scan. Its significance is not known. It may disappear in the subsequent scans. Even if it persists it only has to be told to the Paediatrician at the time of delivery so that he can be more vigilant in assessing Cardiac status of the baby.
At present no action is indicated on your part.
