Effects of regestrone
Current Age -23 History - did not get periods for 3 months straight in 2018, got diagnosed with PCOD (cysts were starting to form ) took allopathic medicines for 21 days. Got periods. Faced side effects. Shifted to Ayurvedic medicines in May 2020. Ultrasound in Aug 2020 , no cysts found. Had periods monthly till 2023 average cycle length 40-45 days ever since I have started to get a period. Became sexually active in June 2023. Did not get a period in July. Took Regestrone (starting day 30 after sex) for 5 days. Got bleeding on 14 August(for 6 days). Haven't got the period ever since, today is day 62 since I had my period. I have taken pregnancy tests twice both times negative. One pregnancy test was with my first pee, the day after i stopped bleeding. The other was last week with a second pee. Is this an effect of regestrone? By when can I expect it to return to the normal cycle? Anything to be alarmed about?

Please consult with a Gynaecologist in your area for further management. If you are married you should plan a pregnancy and let the treatment be directed towards that aim.
