Actually my query is about the disease named thyroid. So, I just want to know that, whether Thyroid represent any other big problem for the body. I mean is it a symptoms of some big disease or it occurs normally in anybody. What are the causes and effects of thyroid.

Thyroid is not a disease..it's a gland normally present in the midline of the neck..it produces different hormones which regulate our metabolism, growth or other activities..
