Ectopic pregnancy is as good as a normal pregnancy as far as hormonal changes are concerned except for the fact that these are on a smaller scale.
So you may get a faint line in a urine test. No periods will take place when the Ectopic pregnancy is alive.
We suspect Ectopic pregnancy clinically and confirm by sonography. At times the clinical suspicion is so strong that we operate without any confirmation from tests.
