Yes there are plenty of studies that prove this medicine is safe in pregnancy. It is an antioxidant that increases vascularity and helps maintain good weight of the baby.
Hi
There are few parameters that are checked in ultrasound scan which hint us about risk of baby being at risk of low weight in near future.
It depends on many factors
Women's age, weight, previuos history of low birth weight baby, hypertension in previuos pregnancy etc
Ecosprin is used in such cases to increase blood flow to baby and prevent this risk.
