Hello , I am 14 weeks pregnant and was advised ecosprin 150 by doctor after NT scan. All test reports are normal till now. Doctor has said that baby may have low weight , that's why they are giving ecosprin. I myself have low weight 49kg with height 165cms. I am attaching report.
Has there been any study that taking this medicine the children born do not have any problems after birth?
At the time of scan , doctor said everything is fine baby is active , then why I am advised this medicine.

Please continue your ecosprin 150mg ,no it won’t affect baby

There are few parameters that are checked in ultrasound scan which hint us about risk of baby being at risk of low weight in near future.
It depends on many factors
Women's age, weight, previuos history of low birth weight baby, hypertension in previuos pregnancy etc
Ecosprin is used in such cases to increase blood flow to baby and prevent this risk.
