Eardrum hole
There is an infection and wounds in my right and left ear after that severe pain & discharge puss (sticky) from my right ear. Wounds are heal after 1 month and no discharge after this and ear become dry. Dr. Told me that my eardrum has a hole and operation is only solution. But now little pain sometimes in my right ear. My question is that can my eardrum hole cure on its own or operation may be need?? Plz suggest me Dr sir.

if its a small perforation it may heal on its own..moderate or large perforation i.e. hole in ear drum needs surgery

You seem to be suffering from chronic otitis media which is a common type of middle ear infection. Usually it is not associated with pain and symptoms would be ear discharge and hearing loss. If there is persistent hole in the ear drum the surgery is the only option
