Ear drum repture
Hi sir, my son 1 month old is suffering from yellowish fluid flowing from his ear. We took to ENT Hospital in shimoga and Doctor blasted my wife that she didn't take care of him properly. But we are not sure what is the problem and all sudden after 28 days fluid started flowing from his ear. Can someone plz help me what could be the reason? Is this cuarble? Will it results permanent hearing loss? Pls explain

Your son seems to be having infection of the ear known as acute otitis media which is very common among children.
Next Steps
This condition usually resolves on its own within 3 to five days. Meanwhile make sure water does not get inside while giving bath. Also don't try to use ear buds to clean the ear.

This condition is usually benign and does not lead to any permanent disability
