I have been using headphones allot due to that I'm hearing robotic type fast rewind noise when someone speaks to me I had a wax build up and ear pain earlier but the voice is milder can I loose my hearing permanently?

You need to get your ear checked for any wax or any other abnormalities present in the ear. If there is no wax present then there might a possibility to damage to inner ear hair cells and you need to reduce using headphones. But for this you need to visit your nearest ent specialist

Visit an ENT near you. Permanent hearing loss might not occur immediately. But get your ears checked. After examination a PTA test is required to look for any anomaly.

First you need to stop panicking. Then you need to visit an ENT surgeon , its quiet possible that it because of ear wax and if not then an PTA is needed
