Ear discharge
I have been suffering from ear discharge since more than ten years now. My father helped me enough by taking me to various doctors but none could help. Now I have given up, and my dad also is no more, I am 24 years old, and I am so embarrassed when my ears get discharged, it stinks. I am afraid now it might have spread to my brain. Is there any hope for me. It has been years now, but last time I heard from doctor about my ear was, my ear drums have burst, but I can still hear, perhaps not well.

you should get treated at the earliest. you are having chronic suppurative otitis media, and if its bad smelling discharge, that is not good for your ears, and it does have potential to spread(cholesteatoma). whichever type of disease it is, yours can be definitely treated as a permanent solution surgically. here we treat ear diseases completely endoscopically and i have 30 years of experience in it. i will assess the type of problem you are having, then do hearing test and if needed a ct scan. endoscopic ear surgery will do wonders for imrpoving your quality of life especially because you are still too young to live with an embarassment.
