In 1st meeting doctor said there is nothing your ear drum is perfectly ok but in 2nd meeting he said your rear drum has been retracted(pushed inwards) and it will be healed itself only but it will take time and also added if it goes worsen eardrum could rupture also😰. But nowadays using earphone is compulsory iam a under graduate student and i need earphones for my online classes even though he said you can use earphones but I cant feel comfortable while using it... pain is not severe but i dont want it.. pl. help.

There’s a possibility of a high frequency hearing loss which can be seen on a hearing test which maybe causing your issue. Also any throat issue which maybe perceived as ear pain should be looked at.

Health Tips
Can try switching to over head ear phones instead of insert ear phones with good noise cancellation to help keep the volume low (protects the ear nerves)
