Duplex collecting system in left kidney

Asked for Female, 32 Years

Iam getting stomach pain in lower abdomen.from few months so went for a ct scan..in kidney part observation its given partial duplex collecting system with 2 ureters one draining upper pole calyces and other darining lower and midpole...the two ureters are seen to be uniting just proximal to vuj..what does this mean..is it normal

Nothing to worry. It a congenital anomaly, not cause any problem usually. Problem of stones and other issue may develop similar to normal kidneys not necessarily higher. So just relax can so repeated USG every 1-2 yearly
